The Strawberry Festival Queen has been a tradition since the inception of the Strawberry Festival. The first Strawberry Festival Queen, Charlotte Rosenberg, was crowned on March 12, 1930. The 87th Florida Strawberry Festival Queen competition will begin at 6 p.m. at the Grimes Family Agricultural Center on the Festival grounds on Saturday, January 22, 2022. In-person tickets are available now at the Festival’s administrative office, RAOK Boutique, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plant City, Nick’s Pizzaria & Wings, and online. In order to accommodate those who are unable to attend The Plant City Lions Club will be selling tickets to watch the pageant from the comfort of your home. All proceeds from the pageant go to the Plant City Lions Club Foundation to help support the local community. A zoom link will be provided upon purchase through email.
