An exciting student aviation competition is taking flight in Polk County, Florida. Spirit of Flight, led by Browning Moving & Storage, is bringing together local schools, businesses, and the community to inspire students through creativity, aerospace education, and hands-on innovation.
Spirit of Flight is designed to introduce Polk County students to the world of aviation while encouraging teamwork and imagination. Schools, classes, and student clubs across the county have submitted entries showcasing their ideas and talents, all centered around the theme of flight and aerospace excellence.

The grand prize for the winning school class or club is an unforgettable experience at Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida. The prize includes a day trip to Sun ‘n Fun, lunch for the group, custom shirts, and a $1,000 check awarded directly to the school. This unique opportunity gives students direct exposure to one of the largest and most recognized aviation events in the country.

Community Voting Is Now Open for the People’s Choice Award
