Recycling Lego blocks through LEGO Replay - Polk County Moms
Little Girl with Legos

Kids and Lego toys go together like peanut butter and jelly. It’s the perfect toy to keep kids entertained and to use their imagination. They can create people, buildings, animals – they are only limited by their imagination. Once we spent an entire weekend building a dinosaur park out of Lego. It took up the entire family room and we had a lot of fun building, laughing, and creating.  Unfortunately, as our son grew older he stopped playing with Lego blocks as much.  We are now the proud owners of bins and bins of Lego blocks.

Imagine my surprise and delight to stumble across Lego Replay. It allows you to donate your Lego blocks to kids in need. The process is simple.  You can print a shipping label and send your Lego. The blocks are cleaned and sanitized before being donated to Teach for America and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. You can donate any type of  Lego and they do not have to be sorted. Just place them in a box with the shipping label to take to the nearest FedEx location.

By donating the unplayed Lego you are helping kids in need, recycling, and clearing out space in your home. It’s a win-win.
