kidsPACK’s Gone Country: A Night of Fun for a Big Cause - Polk County Moms

kidsPACK is a local nonprofit dedicated to making sure children in Polk County do not go hungry. During the school year, they provide backpacks filled with nutritious, easy to prepare food so students who rely on school meals have enough to eat over the weekends and school breaks. Their mission supports thousands of food insecure children right here in our community.

On February 28, 2026, kidsPACK will host Gone Country at White Horse Ranch in Lakeland. This annual fundraiser brings the community together for an evening of food, dancing, games, live entertainment, and meaningful impact. Every ticket purchased helps support their weekend backpack program.

A highlight of the evening is the Bourbon Draw, where participants have the chance to win a premium bourbon collection. With only 300 tickets available, it is a fun and exciting way to support a serious cause. Tickets for the Bourbon draw are $100 for the chance to win a premium bourbon collection valued at thousands of dollars.

Gone Country is more than a night out. It is an opportunity to make sure children across Polk County head into the weekend with full backpacks and full bellies.
