The Elf on the Shelf is something my family genuinely loves. Every year I spend a few days creating items for our Elves to use. Our plan for the elves is not elaborate and our elves do not play pranks. However, they do bring small treats, toys, and crafts for us to do together. I usually stock up with items from the dollar section at any of the local retailers. Items like stickers, or mini puzzles, snow containers, holiday candy, silly holiday headbands, and even ornaments.
Each day our elves will either bring a treat or suggest an activity like driving around to see the lights, watching a holiday movie, or baking cookies. To see all our printables click HERE or visit our Pinterest board HERE
The elves look online shopping just as much as we do. They have their own delivery service company. These express packages are easy to make. Just print, cut and glue.
Everyone loves Pizza including the elves. We use this printable when we want to make pizza or order pizza from our favorite local pizza shop. You can print this on light brown cardstock or light colored construction paper.
Did you know the elves have their own SECRET Instagram account? You can print out the image and leave it next to your elf, screenshot the image to show your kids on your phone or you can go and modify the Canva template to your liking. So many options!
Elves love to be silly and snap pictures. Here are some easy photo props. Print them out on cardstock. You don’t have to be exact cutting these out either. For the elf hats glue some cotton ball pieces to the end. You can tape these to toothpicks or sticks you find outside. Elves are resourceful like that.
