4th of July Celebration in Fort Meade

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with the Fort Meade Historical Society on July 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Meade Historical Museum (1 N. Tecumseh Ave.). The morning includes coffee and donuts, an opening ceremony with the Presentation of Colors, National Anthem, and Pledge of Allegiance, the annual Little Mr. & Miss Firecracker Pageant, food trucks, a tribute honoring veterans and first responders, free patriotic bingo with prizes, and Project Graduation raffle drawings. This free, family-friendly event offers a fun way to celebrate Independence Day while honoring the community and the nation’s history.
